I work with individuals and families experiencing anxiety, understanding it as the body’s natural response to perceived threats activating fight, flight, or freeze reactions. Anxiety often arises from anticipating danger, even when the threat isn’t immediate. Together, we explore these patterns and develop tools to help clients regulate their nervous system, build resilience, and find calm amidst uncertainty.

Grief holds a painful tension: we don’t want to feel this way, yet we don’t want to move away from what we have lost. We are stuck in this place in time. No two people grieve the same way, and there’s no “right” timeline. In therapy, we create space to honor your unique experience without rushing or minimizing it. Faith surrounds the core of who we are; it is the strongest and sometimes most vulnerable part ourselves. The imperfect actions of people in a sin-cursed world can affect that intently strong segment of who we thought we were. My first love has been God's Church and its mission to bring about God's Love and Justice in the world by loving our neighbor as ourselves and loving the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. While this is my background, I recognize that it is not the background of all seeking assistance or a focus of faith within therapy. I have spent a majority of my life providing counsel and pastoral presence surrounding the aspects of faith that we each will struggle with. This, partnered with a clinical approach, allows us the unique opportunity to approach the soul, mind, and reaffirm our strength.

Life transitions often bring shifting roles or expectations from the outcomes of our intentions that can leave us questioning who we are. These can include a career change, relationship shift/loss not being fulfilled in general. These changes can stir up anxiety, grief, or a loss of direction. In therapy, we create space to explore these shifts with honesty and compassion, helping you reconnect with your values, clarify your identity, and move forward with greater intention and self-understanding.
